Sliding Fee Scale

Do You Qualify?

We hope to make hearing care accessible for as many people as possible. View our income qualifications below.

Affordable Hearing Aids

GiveHear serves patients based on a sliding fee scale. Final out-of-pocket costs are subsidized by generous supporters based on your household income.

If you qualify for our services, we’ll work with you to find all the resources that may be available to you — from accessing your Medicaid or other insurance benefits to tapping into Haapi Resources and other funding that may help cover your needs.

Two Ways to Qualify

Traditional Sliding Fee Scale

Through the sliding fee scale, GiveHear serves patients up to 250% of the federal poverty level*.

REACH Program

To help employed households with limited means, GiveHear launched the REACH program, which serves families up to 400% above the federal poverty level.

GiveHear works to ensure as many people can access our services as possible. For more information, give us a call and we’ll be happy to help you calculate out of pocket expenses.

In some cases, additional medical expenses and other bills can be factored into our slide fees. Give us a call for more details.

While there are many costs associated with hearing aids, GiveHear works to unlock the generosity of the entire community — from hearing aid vendors to charitable foundations, grants, and private donors.

GiveHear depends on the generosity of others at every step of the way. You can support us by volunteering or making a donation
